Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️

Happy Sunday 🤗

What plans do you have today? Well for me.... 👇🏼

Welcome to the first Sunday of a new month! Yess, we’re in June in no time 🤭

What have you accomplished for the first half? Did you complete all your set goals? I can bet you’re already achieving June’s goals 😏

For the rest of us, the procrastinators 🙃 Welcome to your second January 🤣

Don’t worry! It’s okay if you haven’t completed everything. Today you will put pen to paper, finger to keyboard and your mind to the matter!

In today’s blog, we will be reflecting on where we wanted to be and where we are now. Are we where we’re supposed to be? Are we far off or almost there?

I believe my best blog since the beginning is Managing your time and resources and I now apply it to everything related to accomplishing my goals.... I implore you to consider to do just the same.

Many of you may not have been able to complete all your set goals for the following reasons:

👉🏻Failure to manage time

👉🏻Not focused enough

👉🏻Not dedicated enough

👉🏻Not enough resources

👉🏻Setting a ridiculous time frame

I’m here to tell you, I don’t have it all together, I’m still working my way through and learning just like you.

We’re in this together!

You should also know that you don’t move up if you don’t put in the work. The bare minimum is unacceptable. Putting in the work means that even after you have worked all day, if you find yourself awake at 2am for more than 15 minutes then put some more work in!

Managing Time

You have to make time worship you! Put it to work! You work a 9-5, but also have a side hustle? For every free time you have to spare, even 5 minutes.. use it to work on your side hustle. Take a few minutes from your lunch break 🤷🏻‍♀️. If you have a child(ren) or other responsibilities, create a strict schedule and stick to it.

Here's a tip on creating schedules: allow 5-15 minutes of idle time in between in case you spend overtime on a task. This way you will be either too early for the next item on the list or on time but never late.

Don't sweat the lack of resources, improvise until it's available to you....or move on to the next achievable goal. This should be self-explanatory.

How can I make the second half of the year better for me?

Turn the reasons why not, into opportunities to make it possible along with investing more of you in it. It cannot happen without you standing behind it.

Try these:

👉🏼Stay focused

👉🏼Put more time in

👉🏼Be consistent

👉🏼Sacrifice to invest

👉🏼Re-invest

👉🏼Ask for help

👉🏼Do more research

👉🏼Set a realistic time to accomplish each goal

👉🏼Keep trying

👉🏼Create alternatives

Last but the very least, if you have brainstormed a new idea...don’t think it wont work for you because

❌a lot of people are doing it,

❌not enough people are doing it or

❌no one is doing it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Negative

The idea will work because you are doing it and only you will make people be drawn to it 😉 it's all about confidence, proper planning, investment and dedication.

Cheers to success before the new year 🥂

Thanks for reading ❤️
