Hey! Thanks for tuning in this week 🤗

Last week’s post I wrote about finding your interest and monetizing it. I also shared how to find what interest you to get started.

How did that work out for you? Let me know later.

Tonight, to add to what was shared lastweek, assuming you found at least 3 things that you are interested in.... we want to START now and PERFECT later.

Yes!

👉🏻 You found out you’re always making new Alfredo recipes? (I’ve been craving that 👀) Start selling them!

👉🏻You enjoy doing makeup? Start a business and offer the service.

👉🏻 You’re into fitness? Sell a meal plan book or even do a virtual fitness program. Start now!

A new device or APP launches at least every month (don’t quote me)... but get this! For every device or APP that is launched on the first try is a trial .... it’s true.. And so, when the glitches appear, customers complain and the developers fix it. Launch your business, listen to the feedback and improve as you go along.

Easier said than done but it makes sense! It helps to avoid procrastinating and living in regret of not knowing of the outcome if you at least tried.

I enjoyed making finger foods so while attending University, I thought how to make a side income every now and then. I spent the entire summer contemplating whether or not I should host a cookout. The doubts of pleasing the customers, GETTING the customers and finding the MONEY swirled my head! I’ve never made Alfredo but I often buy it at restaurants.

So I checked my best friend, Pinterest (the best APP ever) on the ingredients I would need and the method to cook it. Eh, pretty simple but doing for the first time was nerve wrecking! I took 3 weekends to practice until I was satisfied with the taste. I did the same thing with the other items on my menu.

Got that out the way...

I wasn’t sure where I would get the money from to start, so I borrowed it 😬. I created a budget, got the money then started planning for the day.

Long story short.... I got the sales, the people loved it! I didn’t make a profit but I break even. I was happy with that knowing it was my first time and I did it all by myself!

Don’t let the negative side of your subconscious mind tell you that it wont work if you’ve never tried. I may never host another cookout after doing it the second time but at least I did it twice! I knew the outcome and knew it wasn’t for me.

Go for it 💪🏽

My challenge to you for this week is to try and start at least one of the three listed interests (See Stimulus Mondays: Finding your interest and turning it into a Business)

I assure you whether you fail or succeed it is worth the try, because then you’ll know if it’s for you! If you succeed the first try and enjoyed it... improve as you go... only stop if you then realize it is not for you.

Let me know your journey!

Stay safe 🤍

Thanks for reading!
